Chevy Chase Golf Course
Number 2 tee box
The front nine (refered to as the farm nine) is the original 9 holes of Chevy Chase. Carved out of a farm pasture the "farm nine" opened on May 9, 1925.
The winter play can be quite wet, the worse holes are #1, #3, and #7
Winter of 2007-2008 saw early winter quite nice in terms of slogging about because of the drainage issues with the course. Late winter was a real slog.
This web site is not the official site of the golf course, they do not have one. The purpose of this site was a historical perspective. If you have something to add about the history of the course, please drop me a note via the contact page.
